Completed commission for =KingdomHeartsPyro.
I don't really know anything about Death Note at all (I've seen the first two live action films, but that's it), so this was rather interesting to do, LOL. I also realised after I took the photos that I forgot to put his goggles on. But since the lighting is so poor today, I was only able to get one new shot. So, you can at least see the goggles in one of the details, even though he doesn't have them in the full shots. He doesn't look quite right without them! On the plus side, I have a goggle pattern to use when I make Vexen, now!  Now those pretty green eyes can be properly protected both from the nasty chemicals of the lab, and from cumshots when Xigbar gets a little overexcited.The vest was also kinda fun, actually, with all the fluffy trim. The biggest pain was the hair, which is done almost entirely in individual pieces. TAT I was originally going to do the red and black shirt, but decided on the white version because his hair was going to be maroon as well, and it would just be too much. Matt stands roughly 15" tall and is constructed from a mix of fleece, felt, faux fur, denim, and apparel grade PVC. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. I'm not entirely happy with the jeans, because I wanted to actually do seams in all of those places. However, after trying, I could NOT get them to iron flat again, so decorative stitching was my next best bet. :\

You may not have been able to get the jeans to iron flat, but I think the fact that they're NOT flat makes it more realistic to the character. :3 Matt's jeans are kinda loose, so it works! And the lines just pull it all together!
