Just One of Those Things...

Made for a contest over at y!Gallery. LOL @ SHITTY BACKGROUND AND COLOUR. It would've been better if I'd remembered about the contest (for the third time) more than one DAY beforehand.

Yeah, I know Vexen snowboarding has been done and Vexen riding Freeze Pride has been done, but lemme have my fun, m'kay? I know he doesn't look much like Vexen and the shield is epic!fail, but it was lulzy to draw. X3

This was spawned courtesy of some XigVex RP that ~chowdahxhead and I are doing. My Vexen muse, after making himself known, promptly claimed my brain as his own. For a noisy little bottom, he's surprisingly bossy. He demands RP, fic, art, plush toys... *sigh* Even my Xemnas muse has thrown up his hands and gone to hump Saïx and/or Ansem until Vexen gets the whining out of his system.

Anyway, Xigbar had expressed the desire to see snow again and Vexen, being the resident (and post-coitally relaxed) ice elemental, was willing to oblige. That devolved into a snowball fight, Xigbar learning just how horrifying Vexen's laugh truly is, and my own personal ranting about Vexen being nowhere near as crappy of a fighter as people make him out to be. He must, I insisted, have some sort of EPIC MOVE. 'Like Frozone from The Incredibles!'

Turns out ~chowdahxhead had just watched the movie the night before and, after mutually declaring that Vexen was in fact Frozone's brother from a different mother, I decided that the most bitchin' thing for him to do in battle would be to create ice ramps, jump on the back of Freeze Pride, and snowboard at his enemy, impaling the on the nasty pointy bits. (Speaking of Freeze Pride, that thing is a BITCH to draw. What the hell.)

Naturally this isn't what Vexen would look like doing this in battle, but that's okay. He does it for fun, too! And he totally wears his laboratory goggles while he's out there cutting up the snow (even though Xigbar did give him some very lovely snow goggles that I would not be surprised to see him declare a sick turn-on).
