DESCRIPTIVE TITLE IS DESCRIPTIVE. (Also, full-view please!)

Some Atlantean!Vexen for ~chowdahxhead's inner Xigbar, because it's only fair for him to see what he's been fucking of late. Yes, I know he has a girly garment. But the dude one just didn't show enough skin for my tastes.

It was supposed to be just a doodle, but then the little bitch demanded more. He's currently printed out, laminated, and serving duty as a bookmark.

I'm always puzzled why people go OMG OLD MAN over Vexen. I mean, yeah, you can't mistake him for a fifteen-year old girl, and age-wise he's definitely older than most of the Organization. But he doesn't actually look that old. Just less girly. Even if he does have hips like a woman. X3

My Even was Atlantean, and I was ever so pleased when I found out that other people (namely ~GoldphishCrackers) had had the same idea. 'Thank heavens!' I said to myself. 'I haven't completely lost it!' The Atlantis of the universe I play in is a world of its own, though the Sundering and Mehbelmok threw it far off from the other worlds. Like in the movie, the civilization sank below the surface.

So, when Vexen got sent there in an RP on an off-world mission, this is how he turned out. For the curious, the tattoo above his eye is a modification of the Atlantean numeral 4. He's an elder in the Organization. He's allowed to possess above-the-browline markings of rank. DAMN KIDS, GET OFF MY LAWN! His lawn. Whatever. *sprays with garden hose*

And the book he's holding is, indeed, the 'Gay Man's Kama Sutra'. X3 Whether it's a present from Xigbar or for Xigbar is anyone's guess. Possibly both.

...Probably both.

I was posting it from my BlackBerry, and if I type too fast the damn thing doesn't register all of the words. TAT Apparently that happened here. It's supposed to say 'the tattoos on his right arm and shoulder all run along the outer face.' (I was half-asleep at the time I wrote it. It made sense in my head. DON'T JUDGE MEH! *wail*)

So, if he has his arm straight down at his side, palm facing his thigh, you're going to see a head-on view of them. :3 Of course, the spiral is big enough that it reaches around toward the front and the back of his shoulder, like in the picture.

I can try to get some real quick reference doodles done over the next few days if you need them, now that I've finally made it through the drive to my parents' house. :3

Oh my God, this is incredible. o_O The anatomy is great, he's handsome, but not all girly, and his expression is omg!hawt. This is an awesome concept, and was executed very, very well.

Also, I would totally secks up them thar tattoos and characters if I could. X3 <3 Did you do the latter yourself?

Hee, thanks! Vexen is not a girly man, but he's not fugly like 95% of the fandom seems to believe, either. Y'hear that, fandom?! One does not have to be bishounen to be phenomenally sexy! >A<

The characters in the lower right spell out his name. :3 They're actually the Atlantean script from Disney's film, but since I couldn't actually find a font for it, I had to look at a reference and write 'em out myself. ;A;

I'm also working on Neverland Xigbar, who will also be available as a bookmark should I manage to hit the Artist Allies at the various cons I'm going to this year. :3
